AP MUSIC THEORY
(8:48-9:48am Period 2)

AP Music Theory is a rigorous course that teaches all aspects of music comprehension and understanding including but not limited to: composition, dictation, ear training, sight singing, piano skills, score analysis, transposition, figured bass, part writing and harmony concepts. AP Central - the body which oversees all AP classes taught in the United States, has given the Warren AP Music Theory course the “AP” designation. This means that the syllabus which drives and directs the content of this class has been approved and meets the standards expected to be established by all AP teachers.
